The lower home, with the fewest stairs
Tessa is the first two floors of the building: her own front door and garage, a full kitchen under gold pendants, a living room in front of the downtown Wake Forest mural, and three bedrooms up one flight. Six people sleep here in four real beds.
Of the two homes, she is the easier in and out. One flight to the bedrooms and no more, which is why the guests who write about the stairs upstairs write about the beds down here.
Who Tessa is for. A couple bringing the parents, a family of six, or the work trip that wants a real kitchen and an early night. Anyone who would rather not climb.
How the homes fit together
Tessa and Julianne share one building and one address, with two front doors side by side. Book Tessa on her own for up to six, or book Sunset Grove and the whole building is yours.

The primary suite
A king, two walk-in closets, and its own bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The queen bedroom
A queen, luggage racks in the closet, and a door onto the balcony with seating for two.
The twin room
Two twin XL beds and a closet. The room the kids claim first.
Three bedrooms, all one flight up. A king with its own bathroom, a queen with the balcony, and a room with two twin XL beds. Four beds, six people, and nobody on the sofa.
What Tessa comes with
- Her own full kitchen, with a dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, wine glasses, and the pots and pans already stocked
- Seating for seven, four at the dining table and three at the island
- Free wifi, throughout the home
- Smart TV, with Netflix and the major streaming apps
- Washer and dryer, in the home, plus an iron
- A balcony, off the queen bedroom, with seating for two
- Central heat and air, set from inside the home
- Self check-in, through a keypad, no key handoff
- Parking, in the garage and the driveway, with more room in the guest lot across from the driveway
- Kid-ready, with a Pack 'n Play, high chair, and kids' dinnerware
- Board games, in the living room
- A tub, in the second bathroom, for the small ones
- Toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer in every bathroom
- Room-darkening shades, in the bedrooms
- In Grove 98, with Wegmans directly across the street, plus Torchy's Tacos, CAVA and the coffee run
Good to know
- Check-in is self-entry at 4pm or later. Check-out is by 10am.
- The stairs, honestly. One flight up to the three bedrooms and both full bathrooms. There is no bedroom on the ground floor. It is the easier of the two homes, and it is still stairs.
- Quiet hours run 10pm to 8am. The neighborhood is part of why guests sleep so well here.
- No smoking of any kind. Smoking inside carries a $500 fee.
- Registered guests only inside the home, for insurance reasons. Message us in advance if you would like visitors.
- Cameras outside only at the front door and the garage door. None inside, ever.
- A local chef cooks for our guests at a discounted rate. Booked separately, not part of the stay. Ask us and we will introduce you.
